This eye-catching group of colors is what inspired this entire product line of 10-color kits! A while back, someone requested both the yellow-green and teal-turquoise gradient kits dyed on medium (240-yd) hanks, and when I was getting her order ready to ship I couldn't help but notice how GORGEOUS all 10 colors looked together! Something about it just makes me think vintage, retro, even Easter, as I have a dress in a similar color scheme that I wear every spring/Easter... it's exquisite!

Choose to upgrade your skein size for this kit if you're looking to make larger baby/toddler blankets, sweaters, etc, and pick the largest size (240 yd skeins) if you're planning to make larger throws or afghans. **Note that crochet uses substantially more yarn (in general) per finished square inch than knitting. Make sure you consult your specific pattern supply lists for more precise yarn amounts to meet your project needs.

All of my hand dyed yarns are semi-solids/ tonals, which means they contain beautiful streaks and color variation throughout. The darker colors tend to have more streaks than the lighter ones, but no two skeins are exactly alike! Because of this, it's very important to order enough of each individual color for your project...my dye lots tend to sell out very quickly!

All of my plant-based yarns are dyed in my smoke-free, meticulously clean home, using professional grade fiber-reactive dyes. Colors are fixed with chemicals to provide long-lasting vibrancy and permanence.

This bamboo/cotton blend is lightweight, and luxuriously soft. It’s perfect for any project for baby, or for soft winter wearables of any kind. It’s a little on the ‘fuzzy’ side and does shed a bit while being knit or crocheted, but it holds up well to washing and should not shrink if handled according to the care instructions above. I would caution against using very dark colors right next to very light colors in a project, as there could be some color bleed between light and dark, particularly if washing in warmer water. If colors are combined according to the gradient pictured above, though, you shouldn't have any issues... just use cold water!
